Las Vegas-based Pet Madness Inc. has announced the launch of what it terms the “first-ever AI-driven pet ecosystem.” The company aims to integrate various aspects of the pet industry, estimated to be a $350 billion market, through a combination of AI-powered software and hardware.
The platform, called “Sparty,” connects pet owners with businesses and services, including pet-friendly hotels, restaurants, parks, veterinarians, and retailers. It also offers features for finding pet brands and service providers such as groomers and boarding facilities. The Sparty system is available through a website and app.
The company is highlighting its partnerships, inclduing Expedia, Hotels.com and VRBO. Planned integrations include SoundHound AI for voice-powered search capabilities and NVIDIA hardware and Omniverse for developing future AI-driven pet technology, including robotics.
Beyond the digital platform, Pet Madness Inc. is also introducing several AI-driven pet products:
Pet Madness Inc. states that a portion of the proceeds from Sparty-powered purchases will be directed towards supporting pet rescues and veterinary funding. The company’s stated goal is to contribute to saving over 2 million pets annually. The Sparty AI system is named after the founder’s late dog. The company says that it’s system will provide pet owners with product discounts, AI-generated training advice, and recommendations for pet-friendly locations. It also includes features for tracking vet visits, vaccinations, and medications.
The new ecosystem was unveiled at the HumanX AI Conference in Las Vegas. Pet Madness frames its initiative as a way to bring technological advancements and new revenue opportunities to the pet industry.
