How Procys achieved product-market fitProcys achieved product-market fit by addressing a clear need: businesses struggling with manual, error-prone document workflows. From finance teams processing hundreds of invoices to legal departments managing contracts, our customers wanted a solution that could save time and increase accuracy. The market responded overwhelmingly to our ability to automate document processing and meet compliance standards like AEAT certification.
\ Indicators of product-market fit include:
Like most startups, Procys has gone through its own evolution. Initially, we focused solely on automating data extraction for financial documents. However, through user feedback and industry demands, we expanded our platform to cover full workflow automation and compliance features, like AEAT (Spanish Tax Certification/Homologation), ISO 27001:2013, 2022 and we adhere to the the highest standards.
\ A pivotal moment came when we realized that mid-sized businesses in regulated industries were looking for more than just data extraction—they needed secure, legally compliant digital solutions. This insight guided our pivot toward creating an end-to-end document automation platform that integrates with existing systems and ensures compliance across industries.
Milestones and achievementsSome of the key milestones for Procys include:
Building Procys has not been without challenges. One of the biggest hurdles was balancing customer feedback with our vision. Early on, we realized that businesses needed a more customizable solution, which led us to redesign parts of our platform to allow greater flexibility.
\ Another challenge was navigating the complex regulatory landscape, particularly around document certification. This led us to invest heavily in ensuring compliance, resulting in our official AEAT certification, which has become a critical selling point for us.
\ Through these experiences, we learned that listening to our customers and being flexible with our roadmap was key to building a product that solves real-world problems.
